genital warts causes?Generally no-it is a different type of wart that is spread through sexual contact.I have heard of that. So never can be too careful w/ what you touch. Just like plantar warts–(on the soles of your feet) are contagious. Ppl can get them from the gym, pools, etc. Also men can’t be tested for genital warts, they can just be dormant, and not show but be existing in their genitals. Which is why ppl shld never go unprotected!all warts are communicable everywhere even ones from your hands.yes, and they can be caused from cold sores too, its all the herpes virus. if the cold sore or finger wart touches your genital region then you could spread it.You can get warts (Human Papilloma Virus) anywhere on your body. While the wart virus that is generally accepted as genital warts is slightly different to the one you get on your hands, etc. hand warts can still be spread to different parts of your body.
